I did not know that “smoke” counted as a category of weather until today:

This historical figure on whom the character Jeremiah Johnson is based was known as 'Liver-Eating Johnson' for inflicting that gastronomic indignity on the people he killed.

In the original Mission Impossible Steven Hill lead the team. Previously I only knew him frrom Law and order.

According to his legend, Johnson went to war against the Crow for killing his pregnant wife; killing around 300 of them over the course of 25 years; until they reached a peace agreement.

The whole island. There’s apparently a few exceptions made, mostly for utility vehicles, or (the #1 reason I know this) the making of Somewhere in Time.

There’s really no line for him to blur, as he was involved in neither an insurgency or a guerrilla war. His killings can’t even be reasonably called a vendetta or acts of revenge (if it was either, he would have stopped at the Crows who killed his missus).

Furthermore, the mutilation and cannibalism point to the behaviour and motivation of several kinds of serial killers.
