Chinese people use Joss Paper, also known as ghost or spirit money, which are sheets of paper that are burned in traditional Chinese deity or ancestor worship ceremonies during special holidays. They also burn them as an offering to help pay off the monetary problems of the deceased in the afterlife.

They also sometimes feature James Dean

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I have a hard time getting worked up about a missile that’s going to miss me by 300 000km.

A 1 liter bottle of pop, once cold, will remain cool and refreshing for at least an hour without refrigeration.

What happens if the Marvin the Martian sabotages the asteroid’s guidance system and causes the ansteroid to fail to miss?    Don’t you want to at least be able to say “oh Shit!” Before the end of the world?

What happens if the Marvin the Martian sabotages the asteroid’s guidance system so the ansteroid fail to miss as intended?    Don’t you want to at least be able to say “oh Shit!” Before you die?
