Watching John Fogerty at Ravinia, and somehow, I never expected that he would be able to go full Eddie Van Halen. But he just finished “Keep on Chooglin’” and he started off with something that sounds a lot like “Eruption.” Complete with finger tapping.

I've always felt Fogerty has been vastly underrated as a guitarist. He's a lot better than people think.

I liked him back in the day but he certainly fucked over his brother and CCR.

It's great for what it is, but, then again, one doesn't expect to hear something like "Eruption" coming from CCR. He even had a Floyd Rose trem on the guitar he used for that song.
