No, thank goodness. Jay, but Blue or Mister would also have been acceptable. The bird's name was Mister Blue Jay. My grandma was many things, but creative wasn't one of them.

My first husband's middle name was Jay.  His dad's friend in the Army had "J" as a middle initial.  He wasn't sure what it stood for, so they went with Jay.

Just read an article about 'AI Death Bots'. Apparently there are companies in the US and Europe (maybe others) that are recording voices of the soon to be departed. Once activated AI searches the net for any data tied to the dead person in the net and will create conversations with the survivors based on the content that was found.

Too creepy, I don't think I'll be signing up.
