What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
RE: What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
Kept seeing memes of Dave Grohl. Wondered who he is. Now I know. Meh, whatever.

He has been seen as a good guy, great family man, one of the rockers that behaves...it was recently revealed that he had a baby with someone other than his wife.  Oops...there goes that good guy image.

In 2005, the security film, Scotchshield placed a glass box filled with $3 million in cash at a bus stop in Vancouver, Canada, and issued a simple challenge: break the glass and keep the money.

People of all ages and backgrounds attempted to shatter the seemingly indestructible glass. From punches and kicks to using tools and even a sledgehammer, but no one managed to break it.

It turns out that Scotchshield wasn’t as confident in their product as you might think - the case only contained $500 in actual cash.https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/3m-three...cash-stunt

Quote:[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]Stacks of money were placed inside the glass case to fill up more than half of the volume with what convincingly looked like $3 million of cash. However, in reality, as it was later shared, only $500 of real money was inside the case, and the remainder was fake money. The real money was placed on top.

So, I guess we’re even about the Notre Dame rabbit situation, since I mentioned that before you did this time. Plus that the glass’ structural integrity seemed to hold out longer than the metal surrounding it.

The entire Dark Knight Trilogy is 456 minutes long. Batman himself is only on screen for 105 of those minutes. Add in time for Bruce Wayne, and it's at 158.

That’s pretty standard - villains are always more interesting than heroes.

Mike Massimino, former NASA astronaut (two STS missions/25 days in space) and a current professor of mechanical engineering at Columbia University, has a fear of heights and believes that roller coasters are inherently unsafe.
