I learned what this sentence means today.

"The IL-1β or IL-6 in the sample is tyoically sandwiched be-tween a monoclonal coat antibody and a polyclonal peroxidase-labeled detection antibody."

Brain hurts. I think it's in the English language.

Some of the stuff I learned in university physics classes 40+ years ago don't make much sense to me, now. Use it or lose it, for certain. Quantum mechanics tops the bill, there. I never used it.

Indeed! I don't like hand lotion, but when the skin on my thumb starts to sting, I'm all over the lotion. Better than bandaging it and it taking weeks to heal. I also do wood working, and the sawdust further dries my skin.

The fabric I seem to always be working with dries out my hands and nails terribly; but I can't get into a regular routine of putting the lotion on the skin.
