Covid 19 conspiracies dump
RE: Covid 19 conspiracies dump
Campbell lacks the statistical expertise to make  overconfident conclusions the way he does

And why is Omicron reducing intensive care admissions in the UK, but not the US? Because it turns out that the relatively small difference between the vaccination rates between nations like the US and the UK manages to translate into a big difference in severe cases.

And despite looking into John Campbell's history and finding that he has a tendency to make some very dodgy statements about vaccines, he at least acknowledges that they are a big help in this area, although it's unfortunate that, while the bulk of the video involves looking over this report, he never shows this table:

So, just because things are looking up in Britain doesn't mean the Yanks should become complacent.
Indeed complacency is the last thing we should be embracing  Great

Especially when we're basing the data on a different country whose data doesn't match ours.

Government funded CBC (AKA state TV) is now spreading bizarre conspiracy theories about Russians instigating and fueling the trucker protests. The Russiagate hoax continues, forever.

Here's a new conspiracy: Vaccines don't cause autism, nor do injections, but COVID 19 does. Oh noes!

Let's hope that bullshit never takes off. Although, couldn't really be any worse than the bullshit already out there.

P.S. COVID is real. Stay indoors as much as you can. Socializing —in person at least—is really not that important. You can't socialize with your loved ones if you or they are dead. The internet is a cool thing.

I mean, if you work on the front line then fair enough. But otherwise . . .

Did some looking into it to see if there was any truth in this conspiracy, because I don’t trust the Daily Mail any more than I trust IA to properly comprehend information he links to “prove” his perspective. While there is a long trend of Russian-funded misinformation (one that ended up stepping up in the wake of the pandemic) that could probably have helped prime them to believe what they do, There’s zero evidence of any direct Russian influence in this protest.

Yeah, do the opposite of what this guy says. This is really bad advice. You should be spending plenty of time outdoors. Chance of spread is much lower outdoors and you need the vitamin D and exercise, and the internet can not replace real life interaction.

Somebody who can't even be bothered to check and see if the article they're citing as evidence is making the exact opposite point in bold fucking letters requires routine fact checks as a matter of course.

What are you referring to? And of course you should fact check everything because all news establishments are fake news establishments, other than Wikileaks which just does raw data dumps. Our news here in Canada is state tv, no different from how they do things in North Korea. Everything is blamed on Russia here as well, just as it is for you guys down south in the US. Hunter Biden's laptop? The story was censored and blamed on Russia by American media, and it turns out the laptop has been verified as being completely legitimate, and the Russian claims by the mainstream media and former intelligence officials were completely fabricated. Making up lies about Russia so Twitter and others had cover for interfering in the election by censoring legitimate news about Hunter Biden's laptop. This is how it always goes, so forgive me for rolling my eyes when Russia is blamed yet again for something new. Yes, some Russians payed for some Facebook ads in 2016. Big whoop. No evidence was ever found of the POTUS colluding with the Russians. Bernie Sanders was smeared with the Russian smear because he had his honeymoon there. Biden's laptop was completely legitimate and they outright fabricated a story implicating the Russians in that, and now Canadian state TV is outright fabricating things about Russians and the truckers. These tactics are despicable and it's funny that our blackface wearing, Ken doll joke of a Prime Minister and his state tv have to fabricate stories about Russia and the like when the truckers are so clearly in the wrong according to your side of this debate, am I right?
