I enjoyed it, but it’s important to remember that television sequels, spin-offs and reboots have a pretty dismal track record. For every ‘Laverne and Shirley’ there’s a fistful of ‘Joanie Loves Chachi’s.

I agree with Boru's sentiment. I hope it's a good show, but I'm preparing myself emotionally for it to be bad.

Night Court existed within a certain zeitgeist and the original results of the show might not be replicable.

Here's hoping I'm wrong.

Yeah, I’d like it to be a huge 10-year smash hit, but I really don’t expect it.  If it doesn’t crush it in the first three episodes, look for re-shoots with Melissa Rauch in low-cut robes.
