Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
75 pounds is pretty substantial. Congratulations.

(Still fat though) First I did a year of hard core dieting (keto) then I had a bariatric sleeve, exercise 4 days a week for an hour. No sugar. Low carb (under 100). 6 tiny meals a day (they should fit in a 4 oz cup). Lots of meat and veggies. Me and puppy go for runs a lot. And lots of weight training. Yesterday I finally worked up to 15 pound weights which sounds small but when I started I struggled with 5. I discovered a new joy of cooking. I experiment a lot in the kitchen. Ya know I didn’t really realize how depressed it truly was until I started getting healthy.
I am part of the "context is everything" crowd. jk can be used to mean what it means at face value. To let someone know what they said was just a joke. Other times people are being dicks, and they use jk to evade criticism for their dickish remarks.
I'm also in the "Welcome back, BQ" camp. Nice to see a post from you. (November 14, 2021 at 1:34 pm)BrokenQuill92 Wrote:(November 14, 2021 at 7:37 am)brewer Wrote: Now that's worth talking about. Fantastic! Very cool. Your story keeps getting better and better. What's cooking like with your vision issues?

I’ve been cooking since childhood 4ish so I only needed a few modifications, long oven mitts, oven rack guards, setting timers on my phone. I go by instinct and what bit of colors I can perceive. |
