I don't know what Countryside is doing for Thanksgiving, but if I were home I'd be having the usual stuff my dad cooks for us. Turkey, dressing/stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, dinner roll, and cranberry.

I'll be having Thanksgiving dinner with my mother this year. She's preparing Cornish Game Hens instead of turkey.

The wife and I like Cornish Game hens. My youngest son doesn't. I guess we could roast two of them (we each eat a half) and the other son and my wife could enjoy that. Maybe buy some hot dogs or some such for the other son, and have a half left over .
Back when my middle son was taking care of my MiL's house, my youngest brother was renting a room. My son would grill up a nice piece of salmon and veggies, and offered to do the same for him, but my brother was committed to TV dinners.

I haven't eaten a TV dinner in decades; about 4, iirc.

You two, see what you've started. Gonna make a trip to the butcher shop tomorrow, the one that sells quail.

You gonna pay retail for quail!? Well, I will say that it's got to be cheaper than organizing a hunt and having Dick Cheney shoot your face off.
