But, is it on fire?

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I grew up in Duluth, so I can testify to the accuracy of your post.

I was born in Minneapolis. Winter '55-'56 it snowed a cumulative 37 feet. When the winter left, so did we. I was ~3.5 and never went back there, though I have suffered through 2 Idaho winters. I live in southern California and would like to move to a higher latitude to get away from the occasional highs of 118º F in the shade.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
