A question I have heard asked is if light skin is better at vitamin D absorption in more northern climates then why are Inuit dark skinned? The reason is simply the Inuit diet is rich in vitamin D thus there was no need for the Inuit to develop pale skin. It's actually a very interesting example of evolution developing two Adaptations to help the populous survive in a similar environment. Caucasians developed light skin to increase Vitamin D Absorption and Inuits and other northern dark-skinned peoples had diets that provided the Vitamin D they needed.

“No matter what men think, abortion is a fact of life. Women have always had them; they always have and they always will. Are they going to have good ones or bad ones? Will the good ones be reserved for the rich, while the poor women go to quacks?”
