Lets meet up at the Pub

Lets meet up at the Pub
So... next week I'll be flying into Old Blighty (Wales to be exact)

Any forum memebers want to meet and greet an Aussie on holidays there abouts?

Great

Cheers.

I'd be up for that, only I worry the meet up might be socially blighted by my getting on my high horse RE the negative environmental impact of flying half way around the world unnecessarily.

Then you'll be happy to know it's not unnecessary that I travelled half way round the world.   Great

Once I've got a handle on where in Wales I actually am I'll work at leaving a message on the forums. Great

Cheers.

I can remember one time, about 2007-8 or thereabouts, when I was still on Newspeak Dictionary. I live near Chicago, and so did another member, and yet another member spent a year in America as an Au Pair, and she ended up in Chicago. And at one point, one of us suggested we get together. It fizzled out very quickly, and one of the only things we talked about with regards to what to do is that, if we were to go to the Art Institute, I only wanted to go if... a certain painting was on display. Which painting? Just fucking guess.
