What; are you saying that the creator of the universe couldn't inspire his people to capture the meaning of the code through several translations?!!!!?! Fucking hogwash!

Ok, so many appologists use the fact that the bible has been translated several times as an easy way to explain inconsistency, but, but, the code is 100% legit and intact! The spirit of Jesus told me so...

Yeah, this is the best thing to say about the Bible code: You can do the exact same for any sort of text given a suitable grid, selection, and single-minded obsession.

There are no original Hebrew manuscripts.

I know, I was being a bit facetious there. But if the code was written into the Hebrew texts, then the Greek translators would have had to re-encode it into the Greek, then it would have to have been re-encoded into the English translations. Or am I missing something here?

No, you aren't missing anything. It's why they ran Moby Dick through the process and found the same type of bullshit "predictions."

People want to believe that the Torah is original If they admit that it is not then how can it be the word of God so they will do anything to convince themselves it is original and is 100% acurate.

@Rev Rye.

There's no doubt about it,biblical prophecy can be apparently accurate and convincing after the event.(if you have an IQ of ambient room temperature) Much like the prophesies of Nostramdamus and listening to a vinyl record or audio tape played backwards.Cool Shades

I read some bible code earlier that said Min is the prophet of one liners.

Min has just blessed this topic. It is hallowed.
