I was reading God: The Failed Hypothesis at a local BK today when The Skeptic walked up and introduced himself. In our conversation, he mentioned the forum so I thought I'd check it out.

I am an agnostic atheist or if you want to be super technical I am ignostic. I have spent a lot of my life examining different religions. At various times (in the past) I considered myself to be a Christian, Buddhist, and Unitarian. I am quite pleased to be none of the above.

I started and maintain the web site GodlessAtheists.com (Yes, it is redundant. Do a Google search for Godless atheists and you will see it is commonly used phrase when spitting fire and brimstone!) Most suggestions are welcome. Lots of links.

I also have a blog, TheDailyAgnostic.com.

I have a ton of atheist and agnostic images on my Photobucket account HERE. Many are unique ones that I created. Help yourselves. (Links to www.Kowulz.com appreciated, but not required.)

Welcome to the forum. Feel fre to jump right in wherever seems interesting.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

I've been to Upstate SC....my in-laws used to live in a one-horse town called Due West. To me it seemed to be due west of nothing.
