Controversial...

Controversial...
I know this could be seen as controversial, especially on an atheist forum, where most aren't believers...

But, I have to do it., since I won't be online for it tomorrow, my time.

Swear - had someone tell me on another forum that they don't believe in Santa because they are atheist.

Anyway - happy holidays!

Ain't nothin' wrong with peace on Earth, good will towards all, and I bet that resonates no matter what anyone believes or doesn't.

Sorry I'm late. I've been absent. But I have a note from my parents! But the dog ate it!

I wish everyone a wonderful peaceful day tomorrow with family, friends and pets. (Especially pets!).

Glad to see the regulars here. Feels like I never left Dunno.

Nothing merry here. My houseboy said he was feeling poorly last week, so I gave him one of my Covid-19 test kits. The results were positive. I won't be having Xmas dinner with Mom tomorrow. I called my pharmacist, and he said I should be safe because I had the latest booster shot a couple of months ago. I could still be carrying the virus, however, so I won't be getting together with any family members for at least a week.

Hmm, ok happy b-dah to Santa.

But maybe it's the whole world's birthday since Santa is giving everyone a present and in a plot twist it turns out that the Santa is father-creator of the world.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
