Actually yeah, that's why they were hiding. Not sure what that has to do with evil though. Adam and Eve weren't evil, even after eating the fruit, but they were still scared of what God might do to them.

How can dying be evil? Dying is just dying. Do you think that when an ant dies, the other ants think "Man, that shit was evil"? Or a lion? Or whatever?
