Am I the only one who laughed aloud at a catholic telling others they'd been sold a pack of lies?
He's just peddling the misogyny innate in his chosen superstition, as others have said, he's entitled to exercise his right to freedom of expression, but does anyone believe he is doing that freely? He's simply uncritically parroting the misogynistic superstition he's been indoctrinated into, I doubt he's put any thought into this at all, beyond the privilege he'd enjoy in a society where women are told they are little more than chattel, to provide children. When we hear this, shouldn't more people be asking why religions have endured in developed democracies like the US? That's a far more interesting idea than anything this idiot said. If one wanted to point out that a degree is meaningless, one could do worse than point out he's managed to get a degree without developing any critical thinking abilities for himself at all, that's an achievement of sorts I suppose. |
