Sorry I wasn't aware of that. I guess this thread will have to be a general discussion on how to be an ally to the lgbt until those 30 days are up.

I read another article today about being an ally to the lgbt. I won't quote it but I'll summarize if that's OK :

Wear a badge or change your screensaver to show everyone
Go to pride events
Keep up to date with people's pronouns
Check your privilege (if in doubt, ask and you'll be told)
Don't assume to know what someone is no matter what they look like
