That J.D. Vance Thread

RE: That J.D. Vance Thread
Aww, how cute, JD Vance goes public and says he loves his wife in spite of her not being white.

“Obviously, she’s not a white person… but I love Usha, she’s such a good mom.”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Bolton thinks the comment could resonate politically as much as 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s remarks describing some Trump supporters as “deplorables.”

“I think these comments by Vance are really the 2024 counterpart of [former Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton’s famous statement in the 2016 election where she called Trump supporters ‘deplorables,’” Bolton said on CNN’s “The Source” Friday.

“[I] mean, if politicians can’t learn — it’s one thing to attack your opponent, it’s another thing to attack your opponent’s supporters,” Bolton said.

When even John Bolton distances himself from your political statements, you know you've said some stupid shit.

The only difference between the two phrases is that "basket of deplorables" was and is true.

Vance was always a mistake, he is too much of a clone of T****y these days, he doesn't bring anything to draw new voters to the table (and frankly because of his fucking over of the hillbilly community, he's likely lost T****y voters in the Appalachians)*. And that was before Biden pulled out or we heard about Vance's unnatural urges.

*Vance wasn't really picked though to strengthen T****y's campaign (he was full sure he'd win easily) but because Vance is such a weak and spineless fool that it's inconceivable to T****y that'd Vance would try and backstab him.

Vance was chosen to energize the base, thinking beating Biden would be a breeze. Now, they're facing Harris and need to broaden their support ... and they are stuck with this empty vessel.

Empty vessel? More like a hole in the hull below the water line. It'll help the chump sink faster. Couldn't happen to a better candidate.  Hehe

I believe he also was chosen because he will do what Pence would not.

I have the image in my head of Vance giving Trump a happy ending.

C'mon, Pence is an obvious power bottom.

The reason why Trump picked Vance is because that's who Trump is. He would never pick a black man for a VP and he would also never pick a woman (as some still speculate that he will) because he could not stand being around a woman with seemingly so much power. So, being a narcissist, Trump chose a mini version of himself.
