Dataclysm
Anyone heard of this book dataclysm?

It's basically a collection of data made by someone who worked in dating sites. They were one of the founders of ok cupid but extended their research to include lots of social media sites.

I heard about it on Instagram, a woman was showing the results looking at data in the differences between men and women and what age they find people the most attractive.

The book is basically about what people click on and do when no one else is looking. So a man might say "I'm normal I just go for women my own age" but the data shows men statistically all liked women between the ages of 18 to 22 the most, it didn't matter if they were of a similar age or 10 or 20 years older.

It's also including information about how people date between races and so on.

I've only just started it but wondered if anyone else had heard of it or what people thought of it.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I'm normal... I'm 69 but still prefer women between 18 and 22 (sadly they don't like me!)

I like women nearer to my age and whom I haven't met online. I don't do dating sites.

I'll be 58 in October. Young enough to be my daughter doesn't attract me much outside of fapping. IRL, a 25-yr-old woman might have a great body but there's negs along with that for my money.

The writer actually admits that he hasn't included data for over 50s, I've only just read the reasoning behind that and I've already forgot the details. I think it was because of less people in that age group using dating sites.

The age graph doesn't go above 50 for either gender.

Im turning 40 in October of this year, I've coincidentally just started seeing someone who's 19 on a regular basis but its not officially serious, we met on a swinging site. Some of my friends find it controversial but she seems more emotionally stable and less vulnerable than women older than her who I know.

I like the ones that have their own money. Sadly haven't hooked up with any.

No offense ladies.

I'll be 57 next week and I can't imagine being able to relate to someone less than half my age, and quite frankly I think men who are interested in much younger women aren't looking for coequal partners. Super sus, in my book.

Age gap discrimination. Tsk, tsk.

Right, there's a power-relationship dynamic that to me is really unsatisfying personally, and creepy when I see it in others. I tried it about 15 years ago, the sex was great, the interaction was pretty empty, and her deference was exactly what I didn't need.

Admittedly I'm only seeing this woman from a swinging site but I find interactions amazing when you don't have much in common you can introduce each other to new things.
I'm taking her to see the original terminator that they're re showing again on the big screen. She's not hear of the film or Arnold which just made me laugh.
