Fair point, but think the chief objection (outside legality) is that Trump isn’t likely to let those blue state dollars get away. He likes to play soldier, so he’s probably not above taking them by force.

He seems inclined to use the military to put down blue people anyway, they might as well band together given their common interest. At least this way the price paid is in exchange for something.

I think that the biggest obstacle to a peaceful disintegration of the USA is that nobody is ever going to be able to agree how to divvie that pie up. Who gets how much of the debt and who gets the nukes. That'll be doubly true once it becomes apparent to certain wealthy entities that they're going to have to split up the American economy too.

This is an extreme idea but then again, so is having a felonious, Hitler-like dictator wannabe as President.

Little if anything should be off the table when it comes to getting rid of him.

Even that thing that if you talk about it you get a secret service visit.

Come on, Big Mac, git 'er done!  Hehe

As for SS visits, I've visited some forums in the past (don't remember what brought it on, I sure as shit didn't support any of what was going on), where the place was so toxic as to defy belief. I'm betting that those forums (advocating overthrow of the gov during the Obama administration) are far more closely watched. Then again, that's like most law enforcement, they won't/can't go in until shots are fired.

Historical butterflies aside, had the Pennsylvania attempt succeeded I wouldn't have shed a single tear. Otherwise, like @Fireball, I'm rooting for nature to take its course and hurry the Hell up. I've asked for years where is a good myocardial infarction when you need one. The world will be better off without him, but I won't be the one enacting the political violence that was already attempted against my vote.

A lot of people, including myself, would have liked the "Pennsylvania Solution" to have succeeded. It's appalling how one miscreant can cause such disorder in the world's polity. If there was a reason for the reduction in the US' political reach, that would be it. The US doesn't need to stand on other country's necks, any more than on US citizens'.

Trump assuming room-temperature is indeed a favor to the world. Martyr, or "god calling him home", I don't care about the agency. I don't care. We can deal with the fallout after the fact, is my view. Aside from the rest of the world, and I'm attentive to their concerns, when he dies we here in America will have a course to navigate, perhaps to redemption, perhaps to calumny.

While he's alive and the Republicans are beholden to him, things are worse for everyone, foreign and domestic.

I'd take that, but what I'd really like is for him to lose his balance coming down the stairs on Air Force One and tumble down the steps, bouncing cartoon-style until he cracks his head on the tarmac.

Even Taylor Swift would look at the number of YouTube views and gasp in disbelief.
