Is Christianity dead?

Although, I have definitely noticed a drop here in Scotland in the number of religious folk. But there is still a preacher every Saturday who yells out verses of the Bible in my city centre for hours on end. Last time I passed him I asked him to quiet down as he was breaching my peace and being inconsiderate to others.

Interesting isn't it how unappealing noisy bible-bashers are? A group of them regularly appear in Liverpool city centre and are obsessed with telling everyone they need saving. They do it in such a way that I can't believe anybody would wish to be seen anywhere near their company. It must never cross their deluded minds as to how of-putting their approach is.

HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

That is exactly the way the ones here in Dundee are like. The dude also has a hilarious christian band with him that play when he takes a break.

Because you can not disprove God then you must realize that there is the possibility christianity will never die. As for myself I know it's here to stay.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

The christianity horse has been around so long and beaten with a stick so much that it will eventually fade away and give rise to another rediculously irrational religion of the sort.
Live every day as if already dead, that way you're not disappointed when you are. Big Grin

Kindly explain how you " know " such a thing.

Just because it is difficult to disprove the existence of a God does not mean that Christianity can't crumble. It is already a broken religion.
And surprise, surprise... a christian claiming they "know".

Read what he wrote: "As for myself, I know it is here to stay."

LOL. Fair enough. That means it will live as long as he does. Evolution still wins.
