Hi. I'm new to this site. I accidently stumbled upon the site while i was searching for atheist quotes. I've been an atheist since i was 16. I don't have many friends who think like me. And my family is very religious. Its hard to live as a free thinker among such people. Not that i dislike them, i love them all. But they never understand how i came to the conclusion that there is no god. And sometimes people think that i'm insulting their religion and that is a bigger problem. I see there are all kind of people here, and i'm looking forward to good discussions. I don't know if this is the right place on the site to publish or if i need approval of some post, but well, here i go.. Smile

Congrats on still loving your family... I don't have such a luxury as love for my family.

But I don't despise them either. Mostly because I have a consistent summer job that pays very well with them.
