CHEERS

When smoking a cigarette, you inhale the smoke into your lungs, whereas with a cigar you simply suck it into your mouth, savour the flavour, and blow it out again. In this respect it is less dangerous than cigarette smoking, as you are less likely to develop cancer (although admittedly, it is still possible to do some damage).

Also, cigar smoke has a nice smell and taste; not like cigarette smoke. Finally, you look way cooler holding a smoldering imported cuban cigar than a cheap pack of cigarettes bought from the local shop. The only downside about cigars is the price tag...

The cool factor is definitely undeniable. The phrase here in America (or at least it use to be) is, "...that's very GQ"

Aye, I got to say, when I see a cigar being smoked, I think "Niiice".

Cigarettes, on the other hand, provoke "Eeewww."

I don't know why, past my health objections. Perhaps the diminutive nature of cigarettes doesn't look as "strong" as a good Cuban.

I would love to have a drink with you, and considering you only live about two hours from me, it's not that big of a stretch.
Well we've already had a UK forums meetup, so if you want to organize a US version be my guest. As long as you promote the forums, drink lots of beer, and take lots of photos for us all to see.

Of course, anyone willing to pay my air fare and fly me out there to join you would be most kind Tongue

If the government can pay for Noah's ark museums - there should definitely be a way to get them to pay for your plane ticket. Fair is fair right? ....hmm

At any rate. Those who are interested in a US meetup in our general area just need speak up. Maybe we can make it happen some day. I travel constantly so it's not that big a deal to me to drive a few hours.

I would definitely like to attend a US forum gather. Rhythm, Summerqueen and I were chatting about it a couple weeks back.

The biggest problem I see is finding a place that would be accessible to the most amount of people. We may very well have to have different meeting places for different regions of the country.

yeah, it would probably have to be an east coast/west coast thing. This country is just too damn big.

This WORLD is too damn big. I wanna come to a meeting too and meet everyone from the US, but with a 10h flight to reach your coast.. Sad
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Fixed me a whiskey on the rocks tonight. Night caps can be a very enjoyable thing.

Heard a phrase turned recently ... "My girlfriend always has a good time with JIM, but usually falls a sleep with JACK"

For those of you who don't get out much, that's Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.

I think that having a meeting in Colorado and one in Virginia would be about right.
