Yes I read the article. I’ve also read some of Mabus’ bullshit on a couple of forums. I can’t recall him actually threatening to kill anyone. More of an all atheists need to die kind of thing. If that is the case then simply saying a group of people need to die would not be considered a death threat around these parts.

Just because you didn't see any death threats doesn't mean there haven't been any. Numerous people have reported them, in forums, blogs, and in emails. The only reason this investigation is taking place is because 5,000 people (myself included) signed a petition to say we'd seen such threats.

Didn't you read the article? He's being investigated over all the death threats he's sent over the years. Death threats are a serious crime in most parts of the world.

Let's hope he's either locked up or forbidden from using a computer for the rest of his life.

Well, according to RationalWiki, every ISP in Canada has kicked him off the internet, so he's apparently been limited to web cafes for the past few years. It looks like death threats may be enough to lock him up for a few years.

It's amazing he got away with that shit for so long. Says a lot about the anonymity of the net. OR perhaps has become a lot worse recently. He popped up on almost every forum I've visited. He always ranted about James Randi and Nostradamus.I can't remember him ever making death threats.
