My deconversion process has taken a long time, but I can finally say that I am an Atheist. But these videos from The Atheist Experience (an AWESOME show that everyone should watch on Youtube) really did it for me:

Matt Dillahunty is my hero! Seriously, he makes the fantastic arguments that we are more moral then the "god" of the Bible, and that the caller is a good, moral person who doesn't need to kiss up to this "god". And as I thought about that, I thought about what kind of person I was before I received Jesus as my lord and savior-ie, said the sinner's prayer-I WAS a good and moral person. Not perfect, but no human being ever has been!
Matt is right; the god of the Bible is an ass, who-even if he did exist-would NOT be worthy of worship!
And I still AM a good and moral person, as are the people who go to the churches that I've been to throughout my life.
