Science is more likely to help the planet (even if very little), not destroy it.

But inevitably, of course, the planet will be destroyed one day regardless of our advancement in science and technology. And this can happen in many different ways.

There is at least 1007 years remaining before the world is destroyed. Any student of the Bible would know this.

1007 years? ANY student of the Bible? Where do you get this number? Also, you said "AT LEAST..." which means that if the world was destroyed a million years from now, your little prediction would still be true. Convenient. Also, distant predictions whose outcome is well beyond the duration of your life are intellectually dishonest. What's most disheartening is that this isn't even the most ridiculous post you've made in the last two days.

You sir, have now officially joined the ranks of the religious sheep we have meandering around in this forum chewing on each other's butts and happy to roam around in the dark pen waiting for someone to pet them.

My general impression of "students of the bible" is that they don't know shit.

Hey, I was one of those sheep until about thirty minutes ago (now on Convert's Corner). I never let anyone pet me except my wife, and I don't think I ever munched a butt.

My impression was that student and bible shouldn't go in the same sentence.

People study Shakespeare, too. At least with that you get some decent literature.

nice Einstein quote that theists should take note of.

Oh, I think they do, even if they don't recognise it when they smell it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
