Oh yes. Barbeque is one thing I do worship. I mostly eat at Gates, but so many delicious options in this area.

In the bible God reveals NOTHING to further the material understanding of the people in their time. Hence the vehicles used were the common understandings of the day. To understand the bible we have to understand the culture and reference. That's why the message of God is still relevant today, and why it's stupid to try to dismiss it on scientific grounds.
