I don't want Trump to win because clinton dies, but it does not look as if she is up to campaining for the presidency let alone enduring the rigors of the job. It seems to me a vote for clinton is really going to be a vote for Kaine

If that's what you got out of my post, fine. My point was sometimes a cough is just a cough, and there isn't any medication that can make it go away, regardless of your wealth or social / political status.

So no, I don't think my cough got the same attention that Clinton's got. I do however, think the outcome was the same. Some doctor somewhere told her "you're old, coughs happen, there's nothing we can do about it". That's more likely than her being seriously ill with no other symptoms other than her collapsing after being diagnosed with pneumonia a few days earlier.

She's been on the campaign trail all summer, in one of the hottest summers in recent years, and this was the first time anything even remotely newsworthy has happened regarding her health. So forgive me if I choose to ignore the Trump rhetoric and look at the evidence.

From what TV reports and youtube clips I see, it looks simply that all the public speaking is putting a lot of strain on her voice, which has recently been exacerbated by the touch of pneumonia. This is a common complaint among tachers and others who need to speak loudly and clearly for a living.

Um...you do realize that for nearly every point coming out of Trump's mouth you can find a video or a statement of him saying the opposite at some time in his life?  You know he used to be a registered Democrat, right?  It wasn't until he ran for president in 2012 as a Republican that he suddenly took on all these hardcore conservative viewpoints.  And not only does he flip-flop on issues, he can't even maintain consistency on how he's going to deal with the issues.  Just look at his stance on immigration and how his stance on amnesty changes from day to day and no one can nail down exactly what he plans to do.  It's almost as if his message changes depending on his audience.  Talk about pandering...

I mean, is Hillary dishonest?  Sure, she has proven repeatedly that she has problems with the truth.  But if you support Trump, you basically lose all credibility to question Hillary's honesty and essentially admit that you're fine with double standards.

I have my own problems here, that is why I don't vote. I mean, a vote for Sarkozy is a vote for zero-tolerance. A vote for François Hollande is a vote for incomptence. I mean, when George Bush led Tony Blair astray like a lost dog, I see the same thing with Hollande. It was simply because the people who voted for Hollande were sheep.

Her coughing and falling was simply an act to make people forget about the huge error she made in generalising nearly half of the American population. It couldn't have been timed worse. No vote is basically a vote for the status quo. It's saying 'whoever you guys pick is fine with me'. I've had this argument with my anarchist friends who not only don't vote but don't think anyone else should either.

If you're unhappy with the major candidates offered, vote 3rd Party, even if you don't like them either. At least if a 3rd Party candidate gets more votes, it's noted as 'someone is stealing our votes, how do we get them back?'. Low voter turnout is just noted as apathy.
