Peer reviewed study published in Science Journal turns out to be fraud.

And if that 'silver bullet' could kill off science imagine what it could to a religion !!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

As Neil de grass Tyson might say, science remains true even if you killed it.

Indeed, science does not claim to be perfect, ever, and it corrects itself. It makes useful, practical predictions and aids understanding.

Religion often does claim to be perfect, and refuses to ever correct itself even when it's shown to be blatantly wrong. It makes no useful, practical predictions and provides "answers" that don't aid understanding. What exactly have you learned from "Goddidit"?

You can accept both religion and science, as long as you can completely compartmentalize them. It's not the fault of science that what we learn about reality often makes religion look foolish. That is a side effect, not the point of science. Someone with nothing to hide in their financial records should not fear the auditor.

PS: That was a metaphor for the truth of religion, I just realized how ironic it is since the church actually does hide its financial records! Slamalamadingdong.

What I will never understand is:

EG:
The god of the gaps is getting very small so it's important that they continue to chisel away at the wall of logic to try to create a couple of extra gaps.

What they don't get is: you can disprove everything science has discovered! How on earth will this prove your god.
You have never ever shown any evidence for your crazy "claims". The best you can do is stick your leg out and try and trip the smart new kid in town and only in frustration I would imagine.

It must really suck to be on a team that hasn't won a game in 2000 years... But they're all too stupid to leave.

Once they were 'enlightened' by speaking to an LGBT, they would be far more likely to support gay marriage. Obviously you are meant to infer that opposition to gay marriage only exists within ignorant and uneducated circles.

So Your "lead scientist" is just a poli - sci student who embelished a paper. He's not a professor and he's not a scientist, and the paper he wrote is just a popular "human interest" study that according to you says that people will have more empathy with people they've met. Which is akin to a study saying that water feels wet.

You imply that because of this poli sci student's intellectual dishonesty, we should believe in Magic god fairies that whisk people off to a jewel encrusted heaven in the clouds or a fire pit in the center of the earth when we die. You imply that we should believe that because of sky god's tantrum he flooded the world over Mount Everest about 4000 years ago and that Cock-a-trices, satyrs, dragons, talking asses, burning bushes, and wall crumbling trumpets existed. We should believe that the sun circles the earth and can be stopped whenever sky god need an extra hour or so for his favorite team to play a little longer and that when he's tired of playing with us, he's going to send all the stars falling to earth like rain where we will have to hide in caves in order to not be crushed by them. Oh, and this "god" wants us to cut off the end of our dick to show him love.

That's stupid beyond words..

Well, that's the beauty of peer review.  These things can be discovered and eliminated from our knowledge base.  How many fraudulent lines of scriptures have been deleted in the past 2,000 years?

Holy shit dude, long time no see!

Not really Rob. You're being generous.
Because ours would still have bits and pieces in it here and there that are actually true!

Quote:Peer reviewed study published in Science Journal turns out to be fraud.

The really funny aspect of the christian's post is that he seems to forget that christian scriptures are not supposed to be "peer reviewed," they are supposed to be copied verbatim from the mouth of a ghost that was supposedly whispering to select believers who wrote what he said down. Millions of other christians talk to this ghost daily according to their claims but somehow the ghost tells each guy something different so few christian "peers" rarely agree to the entire story and couldn't pass peer review.

We also can't recreate the experiments such as first king 18's experiment performed by Elijah with the two alters, because god is tired now and can't be disturbed.

Christianity requires a ton of cognitive dissonance or 200lbs of pure stupid.
