I have and still do commend you on the work you do, I wasn't pointing a finger at you. My reply was to another. Most of the atheist here do drugs and drink heavily, by their own bragging, so I'm sure they haven't the time, money or care it takes to do what you do, I know their situation, I use to live it.

I didn't come here to win a popularity contest, that's easy to do. I do see many atheist and some past Christians trying their best to win people over so they can be popular. To become popular here would mean sacrificing much of what I believe and that's not an option for me.

Well the above statement by you is an Ad hom and I see little to respond to. I will say I've been working to clean up my back yard for many years and God has been their for me all the way, I have much farther to go but, I can tell you this and have above, since dropping my alcohol and drugs and smoking also, I have a greater care for others, why, because I do not seek that self pleasure any more and receive a greater pleasure of helping and seeing others cleaning up their lives. You see I understand what rexbeccarox feels when I'm able to help others.

Oh, and while we're talking charity, while I can't help in terms of manual labor due to my disability, I regularly give to Child's Play, the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Feeding America, and the MDA. I also don't smoke, drink, or use recreational drugs. I don't need a god to be awesome. I CHOOSE to be awesome. I'm really proud of all you guys for the terrific work you do.

I've done loads of street collection before for all sorts of charities, volunteered at open days to raise funds, volunteered in charity shops, done research at home for a charity to help them raise funds...

One time I dressed up as a giant chicken to help draw attention to myself while street collecting. It worked! I got a lot of people saying they were donating just because I was willing to stand there wearing it.
