When I'd had 4 in a row and went out for an hour and a half's walk to buy 8 more.

My arsehole was burning for at least 24 hours thereafter. But it was worth it!

I'll never go back to Ramen when I have Ramyun.

When I'd had 4 in a row and went out for an hour and a half's walk to buy 8 more.

Looked up Nong Shim, and they do sell it here at Wal-Mart. Looks like good ole Cup 'O Noodles, more or less. 
I do prefer the Spicy Chicken Tortilla Cup (or something like that) flavor to the plain ones, when I indulge every so often. Of course, they're all much too salty to be eating 4 IN A goddamned ROW!

I was in a grocery store awhile back, and some kid was screaming for no apparent reason, and the mother was completely ignoring her. I said, "You can find socks on aisle 5". Didn't get a warm fuzzy reaction.

I just learned than Korean cup noodles are the shit. And so much tastier than Japanese or British, IMO.

It's just the spices they use plus the noodles are freaking awesome.

I always find it amusing when kidless people say these things.

I was one of them. Then I had a son who made it easier to judge. He’s always been well behaved, socially skilled, and very polite. Then came my second. He juggles autism, severe social anxiety, and hates people. At first I kept him safe from ugly stares by not taking him out to stores where he could get nervous and act up, but one of his doctors advised otherwise. She said he needed social skill practice and exposure to people in out of routine situations. It requires a lot... a lot to make these outings a success. While there has been a lot of progress, we still get people who give us nasty looks and make ignorant and insulting comments, because let’s face it, they have no idea what’s going on. To them, my child is acting up for “no good reason”. So, I make sure my son isn’t looking as I mouth the words “fuck you” to the assholes. I have no reason to explain myself. And if anyone speaks directly to my son (which makes him very nervous and can ruin his entire day) to scold him, they will hear it from me. Oh, my son making your shopping less than perfect? You can’t cope with little bumps in the road like this? Then said person can either stay home or fuck off, but my kid gets his practice and he won’t be shut out from the rest of the world.

And it works. He’s getting so much better at it.

I've noticed driver's lack of respect toward pedestrians lately, as though it is a veritable burden for the driver to have to yield to the pedestrian who is crossing the street. Drivers need to stop being so impatient, speeding everywhere. If you needed to be somewhere five minutes ago, you should have fucking departed earlier.
