Sorta like when a believer says "I used to be an atheist" in the tone that suggests he's seen the light. Nobody knows everything, so everyone is ignorant to a greater or lesser degree. As for delusional I'll have to check and make sure I've been taking my meds.
You know... at this point, anyone who ignores the mountains and mountains of reality that science is giving us each week in order to keep the idea that christianity somehow might be true truly is holding on to a delusion. There's no way to rationalize belief beyond ignoring the stupidity that is christian "faith." Every day science gives us a new amazing truth about the world, while christianity continues to fail. Aside from the utter ignorance it must take to believe in such a stupid idea, it takes a truly deranged mind to disregard the constant flow of truth given to use by science.
