I agree and disagree. I definitely agree that a woman's attractiveness is the whole reason we seek them out in the first place. Typically we (guys) are the pursuer, and we don't see a girl across the bar, party, club, etc; and hope that she has a good personality when we go to talk to her. We think she looks cute so we make our move, it's as simple as that.
As far as woman and their attraction to men, I feel as though it generally has less to do with how you look then it does about other qualities. If a chick is just looking for a hookup then yes, how you physically look will be important. But in a relationship most women are looking for some swagger, charm, confidence, status. Essentially as men we have other qualities that can override our physical looks in the eyes of women.
