It would only be discrimination on religious grounds if they were not hired because of their religion, whereas they would otherwise have been hired. That is clearly not the case here. A person of any religion, or of no religion turning up and expecting not to work the days required would be turned away. Hence not discrimination on religious grounds, or any grounds. It's simply hiring people who are prepared to do the job they are applying for.
