If a judge sentenced a murderer to death, would you then arrest the judge? We've violated God's law, and the punishment is death. He is not being unnecessarily malicious or cruel. He simply carried out judgment so it could be written in the Bible and we could learn from it.

Studies have shown that the percentage of priest child molesters is actually lower than the percentage of molesters in the normal population. Priest estimates run from .2% - 2% while the normal population is 1% - 5%. These are speculations of undiscovered offenders. Only 55 (.12% of) priests have been actually exposed as abusers (not just accused) while there are 705,000 registered sexual offenders in the US. It is very sad what they do, but it's also shameful of the media to cast all priests in a negative light based on so few instances.
So few instances? Hundreds of Millions of dollars in lawsuits won around the world by those raped?
The problem though was not the pedo/priests, one should always expect a few in every group, but the response from the church when they knew what the pedo/priests were doing.
The Church PROTECTED them! And sent them to new parishes in different states, sometimes different countries, to molest anew. The US gov should have used the same tools used busting international crime rings, but cowardly enough, did not.
Get real! The Catholic Church is an international crime organization.
When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.
