Oh,sorry for being unclear. I was referring to the common Christian position that all men are inherently sinful. IE imperfect.
To claim that Jesus was perfect is special pleading and sophistry.
Quote:But the point is he was perfect in his actions. He commited absolutely no sin
Proof?
You have only faith on which to base that claim. Your 'knowledge' is based only on what on what is claimed in the NT,a religious text with no credible supporting evidence. Plus even the NT is silent about the life of Jesus between the age of about 12 and 30. There is no credible evidence to support any of your claims.
When you make a positive claim, you attract the burden of proof.Either provide some or stop wasting my time.
Yes it is based on faith just like its based on faith to believe there is no god. You cannot prove a negative and I'm not going to be suckered into doing so. I'm not trying to prove his sinless nature, I'm simply saying calling him perfect is not a contradiction.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
