All this talk of "x is shrinking/slowing so the Earth can't be old or we'd all have been vapourised/drowned" is as silly as "the tide is going out at such-and-such a rate, thus last week the whole Earth must have been flooded". And for exactly the same reasons.
Also: Erwin Hubble? Erwin? Edwin's older brother who was never allowed out of the attic and whose only claim to fame is the invention of the BBT sandwich? |
