Anytime, Kichi. The development of the Big Bang Theory is a truly fascinating story involving many scientists of wildly varied personalities. For example, George Gamow made two failed attempts to escape the Soviet Union with his wife by kayak. Later, on April 1st 1948, he along with his student Ralph Alpher published a paper on their findings regarding the formation of hydrogen and helium in the early Universe. Inspired by the date, he convinced his friend Hans Bethe to append his name to the paper simply so that it would appear to be authored by "Alpher, Bethe and Gamow" (actually this caused a terrible row between him and Alpher).
And some people think scientists have no sense of humour.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
