Thank you! Yes, that's really the gist of it. Norwegian and Danish comes 'free of charge' with Swedish. They are so similar that it isn't hard to communicate in Swedish with other Scandinavians. Estonian is quite similar to Finnish, though not as closely related as the Scandinavian languages are, but close enough that basic communication isn't too much of a hassle. German and French vocabulary is simple with Swedish and English in the back of your mind, the grammar is the biggest difference.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human.
