Besides, if you do not have the means to live in a clean and organized environment in America(like you do not live in a ghetto), or receive adequate healthcare, it's best you do not go to Sweden, if you resent working for the Swedes in the jobs they themselves don't want to do, and live along with some strange mussulman people from various parts of the orient...

Utter bullshit. Have you ever been to Sweden?

Let me get this straight.
The reason this guy is emigrating to Sweden is not the culture, language, or it's natural beauty, or urban magnificence, but due to the fact that America is "too religious", and he states that the USA is going down the crapper without even actually explaining how.

By the way, have you ever been to Sweden?

Omg you got to be kidding me. Grotesco are the swedish own Monty Python. Next. It's called comedy. You might not laugh at it but thats not the point. In Sweden you can write and express yourself and dont have to worry about being thrown in jail.

Orhan Pamuk? Any thoughts? That wouldnt happend in Sweden or anywhere in Europe today.

He has denigrated the Turkish people with his writings and words. No one has the right to do so. Besides, that was the best thing that could have happened to him. To be honest, I think that he got the nobel prize just for that.

I sure did, but some swedes obviously did not.

That's nice, same here, unless you step over the line, and begin to become disrespectful.

But at the end, why would someone like some other country over his own?

Great. Thats really all i need. Turkey will never ever be a part of a europe, and im glad. We dont need you and your medieval thoughts.

So? You posted a link to make some kind of point. People dont like the same kind of comedy. Again, so what?

In sweden, where we respect freedom of opinion, that doesnt matter. You either for freedom of speech or your not. There are no buts. Haha you dont grasp difference do you? Unless?

If you want to discuss this further i suggest you start a new thread. The starter of this one apparently wanted help from people with some kind of insight in Sweden and its culture. Which you have none what so ever.

Like we ever needed your oh so modern ways of thinking.
Besides, do you really think that all Europeans lack national consciousness, like yourself?
Even in Hungary, a writer had made similar remarks, and once he saw that this would go downhill for him, he immidiately took back his words.
Orhan Pamuk still refuses to apologize, as he received his nobel prize on the accord of his actions, purely political reasons.
He's not even a real Turk anyways.

Well, how about holocaust denial? You respect that too?
Your fellow EU countries don't.
So why should we?
Obviously, your so-called freedom of speech applies to only a few select people. We at least are not hypocrits, and think that it is important that freedom of speech has it's limits. No certain remark regarding our people will go unpunished in this country. And the least of which was made by someone as Orhan Pamuk, a traitor to his country, although loyalty is the last thing I'd expect from "intellectuals" like him.

I certainly do not have the insight you have, swede, but I've been around Europe, and think that certain things might be quite similar over there.
Besides, have you been to America to state that you are offering indeed better life standards over there?

Again, you have no clue about sweden and its selfconsciousness. Sweden and swedes in general are confident enough in itself to allow anyone to write and say anything they want. You will get debated but you wont get thrown in jail. We dont suffer from inferiority.

Like myself? Im i not at this very moment spending time arguing against a Turk with no knowledge about my country what so ever?

They scared him to silence. Its a shame. And this has what to do with Sweden?

There is no law in sweden about holocaust denial. We have freedom of speech in Sweden. As i just pointed out.

Then you are dead wrong, which was made quite clear. You have no clue about swedish culture and its way of life. Which was quite obvious when you tried to get cheap credits by posting a swedish wanna-be-monty-python movie from youtube and referring to the comments(!).

Have i ever stated that Sweden offers better life standards compared to America? No, not once. Again, you are full of shit.
