Imagine the (fnord)s are Purple Rabbit's conception of nothing. I used (fnord)s 'cause they's fun.

I see the concept of nothing as useful in math but, yeah, nature abhors a vacuum and scientists are finding a background energy that they are trying to tap into. I don't know that much about it but zero point energy is what it is called.

If you are understanding not a thing of it, then you are really doing just fine.

From your wife or child? Probably. It's more likely to actually mean "everything" ,which is equally helpful.Cool Shades

Hallelujah.

Now ask the question, why?

Because nothing can't exist because if it existed it would be something. Nothing isn't something, it's nothing, it's the opposite - it's absence of something. Not something that can exist.

There is no such thing as nothing, in reality.

Why is there no nothing? Is it not allowed? Who, what, then, forbids it?Huh

Because nothing can't exist by definition? Because nothing isn't something...it's nothing?

RE: God's will.....who needs it?
So why do we have a zero to designate nothing if it doesn't exist? Are we debating idiotic semantics?
