Thats exactly right. I do worship the same God. The fact that the cave man and me have incomplete and non-identical
understandings of the exact nature of God doesnt prevent either of us from worship.

Where do you get YOUR information?

The Garden of Eden was not a desert. You dont even know what you are rejecting.

Thats funny. I am very happy with the direction modern science is taking. Until recently, I could never have used dark energy/big bang inflation (''modern science'') to justify the biblical statement that God stretches out the heavens. Whoever thought that the multiverse idea of another dimension of space/time reality existing beyond our universe (Heaven/Afterlife) might actually be scientifically feasible after all.

And I think we can give modern science credit for providing the ultrasound evidence that embryos are people. Science is turning around peoples views on abortion and F.A.S.D. (And Facebook pictures of embryos at 6 weeks.)

Science is providing the means by which the "viability" of life outside the womb is getting earlier and earlier. Science is providing the evidence that embryos "feel" (respond to) external stimulii at LEAST as early as 4 weeks from conception. Science is providing the "clinically proven " evidence used by companies like Bayer/Elevit which market products products for use BEFORE and during pregnancy - TO ENHANCE HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR EMBRYOS.

Science is doing a great job sanctifying life.

If the first people who postulated an invisible friend were right, then why are you not worshiping their god? "God speaks to people in different ways". Then there is nothing stopping you from going to the starting point.

And what the fuck does this have to do with abortion? Is this your pathetic way of making pro choice people look like Hitler?

A SPERM IS A POTENTIAL LIFE so every time you masturbate you are committing mass genocide.

And if you want to claim science is leading to a god, how convenient and original, like people outside your pet claim don't do that either. And if it is all the same god, then your pet label is not required and any label will do.

If anything is possible because humans don't know, and since you are not at my end of the computer and "anything goes" by default, then Angelina Jolie is sucking my dick right now, HOW DO YOU KNOW, ARE YOU WATCHING ME RIGHT NOW?

I am worshipping their God.
Why are you pushing me. I agree with your premise about the first people.

I made it pretty clear that science was helping my biblical view about the sanctity of life and I dont recall mentioning the Nazis.
Did I hit a raw nerve?

I know what it's called when I am the first person to mention Hitler - Godwins Law. But whats it called when someone else (falsely) verbals you as having dragged Mr Hitler into the discussion.

Really? Hmmm. Thats an interesting idea you have.

Gutsy move naming an "A list" celebrity in that particular way.
I recommend against it, just to be safe, because they have big bank accounts and good lawyers and their professional reputation
is VERY VALUABLE/EXPENSIVE.

Good for you, do you want daddy to put your finger painting on the fridge with a gold star? So what's with the pictures then? Is that supposed to embarrass us or shame us?

Lion, there is evidence (even within the Bible) that Yahweh was the head of a pantheon of gods. The "you shall have no other god before me" and "O Lord, there is no god like you" type stuff implies that the Israelites at least recognized other gods. Yahweh also had a consort goddess in the earlier mythology, called Asherah. The Archaeological record and other sources also equate Yahweh with El, who quite definitely had other gods below him (Baal, etc.). The Original Habbakuk had references to these other gods as well. It was only Isiah era and later that Judaism was monotheistic.

Also, some evidence suggests that Yahweh was considered a son of El, not the same as him.

Is that what you think that preventive, just in case, ''recommendation'' was?
A flawed argument?

I'm afraid all that glitters is not gold.

Go back to Def Con 4. False alarm pal.

When doctors recommend against smoking because of the potential risks they arent committing an ad baculum fallacy.

An argumentum ad baculum would look like this....

Theist - I think the God conclusion is justified because...
Atheist - [screaming] You low life theist POS #@!!! I hate you and wish you would die you *&#@!!!!

Theist - But I just wanted to try and discuss with you...
Atheist - [screaming] You low life theist POS #@!!! I hate you and wish you would die you *&#@!!!!

Theist - I'm wondering if your intimidation is a deliberate ploy to get me to back down and then you will claim that I gutlessly ran away from a debate.

Atheist - ...how many times do you need to be told?

Heres another example of an ad baculum.

Me - Gay marriage should not be legalized because....

He - Gay marriage should be legalized because gay people are almost 3 times as likely to have had suicidal thoughts, 5 times as likely to have had suicidal plans and 4 times as likely to have attempted suicide.

Me - IOW you're saying its our fault and if we dont allow gay marriage they will keep harming themselves until we do.

The Abraham cultists then and now, do not want to face that claiming an invisilbe friend in the sky is hardly original.

Hebrews exist for the same reason Pepsi looked at Coke's Cherry soda. They looked at the surrounding polythiesm and said " some of this we like, but we can do better by downsising the soda flavors"

Otherwise we should all worship older gods of Zoroaster and Akenaton. And even they had insperation, just like Superman lead to Spiderman and Harry potter. It comes from imagination and ignorance and wishful thinking.

Why do you think we are atheists? Becuase unlike you we have read the bible WITHOUT magic daddy beer goggles on.

The earth was not created in 6 days. Donkeys and bushes don't talk. The moon is not a separate source of light. There is no such thing as magic babies born of virgins, and human flesh does not survive rigor mortis.

"Buy bull study is like knowing every line in the Harry potter novels". If a Muslim quotes the Koran, does that mean you'll get 72 virgins?
