In the Beginning Man Was Stupid

RE: In the Beginning Man Was Stupid
Do you think that ridicule can change religious faith? However rare logic will change faith-based belief into non-faith-based belief I think that ridiculing religious believers might even make their faith stronger... if you piss them off they might fight back harder. I doubt that they will get upset enough to react with something like "I guess since the atheist made me this sad I'm probably wrong, there probably isn't a god after all", I bet they're more likely to react with something like "The atheist is trying to piss me off because he is against God. Atheist hostility against God itself is just further proof of God. Now my faith is even stronger."

I think that it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

For entertainment purposes I see no problem, but if you're trying to change anyone's mind's here I doubt that it will work.

Nope.....but it does get them to parody themselves....and I like to pretend that irony is never lost on anyone. It helps me sleep at night. Laying aside the strangeness of the statement "changing ones mind"......no, that's not really something I worry about Doubt.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well if it helps you sleep at night then I approve. Within reason.
