Dunno. I don't pay attention to theatres and much of my time is spent watching Asian movies and tv shows, and crime shows. I'm not a real zombie movie fan.
On the other hand, last night, I picked up the Blu-ray edition of Army Of Darkness. I don't think that counts as a zombie movie, though. I found myself sufficiently disenchanted with the first half hour of Helldriver not to finish it. On the other hand, I loved High School Girl Rika: Zombie Hunter. In general, I like old school Asian horror, not all this gore and pinku.

The book is a very good one: it's written documentary-style, with interviews to the survivors of the zombie apocalypse, a huge amount of technical details as to how and why armies failed to solve the zombie problem and a decent dose of black humor.
From the this trailer, the movie doesn't seem to have any of it. It looks like a Michael Bay take on the zombie genre. And given that I'm definitely not a fan of Mr. Bay's "blow up everything and don't care about plot or characters" approach, the trailer leaves a bitter aftertaste in my mouth.

Yes! This was exactly my thoughts. The book is one of my favourite books and to see it messed around like that disappoints me greatly.

Zombies are everywhere. Really. Well, they only might be actually. Zombies Only Might Be Inside Each System!
Yeah, I know what you're thinking, so: ignore me. I can only do creativity of the insane variety.

That would be a cool scene, even if it rips off 'Killer Klowns From Outer Space".
