Is it always morally wrong to violate the moral laws derived by the particular society a person lives in? Is it therefore not morally wrong for members from one society to murder and rape the members of another society?

My morals are based on my societal norms which means that, to me, it would be morally wrong to rape and murder anyone, regardless of society.

So homosexuality is morally wrong in the Middle East and they are morally justified in stoning homosexuals?

Even then it's only Iran. No other country has homosexuality as a criminal offence. Being a homosexual in and of itself is not a crime (in fact there are quite a bit of homosexuals in all Muslim countries), but engaging in sodomy is a capital offense in Saudi Arabia, punishable by public beheading, not hanging. And other Middle Eastern countries don't even punish that.

1. Homosexuality is not a criminal offence anywhere in the Mid-east apart from Iran.
2. Homosexuality is not punishable by stoning anywhere in the Mid-east.
3. Homosexuality is punishable by hanging in Iran.
4. Sodomy is punishable by public heading in Saudi Arabia.
