Hello
Hi all, just another new guy here. I came from a Christian background, my Wife is still very much a believer and has no idea that I am not anymore. In fact she would make my like a living hell if she ever found out (real Christian right?)

RE: Hello
Welcome to both of you, Riften and Tybee.

As for your wife being a christian - is she hard core, 3 services per week and sunday school too, or is she more of a "feel-good christian?"

I only ask because feel-good christians can often be swayed. Just start showing them all the many horrific, morally void parts of the Bible and ask them daily whether or not the following makes sense:

Cheers, and again, welcome to our little corner of the web.

She's hardcore because it makes her feel good.

Like the Riften from Skyrim? I'm surprised people are still playing that game, but it's good to have you aboard!

Well that's a shame man. What brought you into the light?

RE: Hello
Welcome. I, too, am an atheist with a Christian (Catholic) wife, and when I told her I didn't believe any more she just about freaked out. But she's better about it now, and she's not a strict "We have to go to church every weekend" kind of Catholic but she feels guilty about it if she doesn't go for a while.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.
