I think we've found out why these questions are asked in vain - there was never any intention to answer them.

You're somewhat off the scale, which goes something like this: Gut feeling or idea - you have something you're interested in knowing better, but no evidence whatsoever. Hypothesis - a formulation of the ones above, and a plan how to gather knowledge and perhaps limiting oneself to a narrower topic, so that one doesn't get streched too thin. Theory - Plenty of independent studies that verify the hypothesis, and adequate evidence to make something a fact. Law - There will never ever be contradicting evidence for this. Say what you will, I think it would be a step forward for more Muslims to accept the idea of theistically-guided evolution. Instead of trying to convince us that Islam is compatible with evolution, I hope the OP gets to work on his fellow Muslims.
