An unanswerable question

RE: An unanswerable question
Did anyone say anything about the baby having some horrible, contagious, incurable disease? I think the general question is if god told you to slaughter your loved one(s) to prove your loyalty. That's what they usually mean by "would you kill your baby if god told you to?".

And how does a "fundamentalist atheist" work? Not only do I not believe in a god, I disbelieve fundamentally? Or is it a term plucked from someone's fundament?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

RE: An unanswerable question
I've got a question that I ask when atheist ask a stupid question like this.

If your girlfriend told you the she was prego, and you had to pay for 18 years of child support or pay for an abortion (just FYI it's the same as killing a baby) which would you choose?

Somehow God is a monster for ordering the deaths of say 100? 1000 ? A million? people total?? but 'we' are justified to have killed a billion plus babies, (since 1980) and the number still is climbing. all in the name of a woman's right to choose..

We are told to judge not LEST we can be judged using that very same measure. If your swing the baby killer sword at God know it is double edged, especially if you are a pro choicer.

Most abortions are done before the fetus has a fully functional brain. Yahweh killed countless people because they weren't paying attention to him enough. Because when two people disobeyed him, he decided to curse the whole species. He's big on disproportionate retribution, punishing people who had nothing to do with what he was mad about, which was often just not worshiping him.

Personally I'd rather be a dad or pay child support, but I also know that before a certain time, you're not really killing a person. It literally has no functioning brain, which is what makes the individual.

Fuck you and the horse you rode in on. An abortion is an abortion. Killing a baby is killing a baby. Unless you can't tell the difference between a cluster of cells with no neurological system and a functioning juvenile human this comment is just ridiculous.

If Christians cared more about accuracy and less about cool sounding soundbites people might take us more seriously.

Yaweh also killed billions of embryos and fetuses at this stage, and keeps doing it, to the point that people who actually want to become parents have sleepless nights about spontaneous abortions. But I'm sure you will rationalize that, like it's ok when your asshole god does it, right?

I've has one yes but the rest never replied. What does this, to you, tell you about religion?

Who the fuck asks somebody to jump off a bridge or kill a baby? What the fuck is the matter with you?

This tells me nothing about religion. According to you this is how it should work....I dig christ; therefore, I should jump off a bridge or kill a baby. Maybe you think like this, but religious people do not. I'm all for shoving reality up the devout's ass; however, you're just making shit up for the sake of some misplaced ego trip,

No

Maybe that shows the weakness of my faith. Maybe I can't imagine how such a strong directive would ever be given. Just interested to answer you though. Don't shoot me Smile

I've jumped off a bridge, some of them aren't that high. I'm not going to admit to a baby killing because I'm not sure If I used a junk email address when I signed up.
